ASU Minimum Premium Rates (MPRs) for Category 2 and 3 Aircraft have been reset. These reset MPRs replace Table 2 a) and Table 2 b) of Appendix III of the Aircraft Sector Understanding (2007 ASU) and are applicable as of 15 April 2012.

Market Reflective Surcharge (MRS) and resulting Minimum Premium Rates (MPRs) have been updated. These updated MPRs replace Table 5 of Appendix II of the Aircraft Sector Understanding (2011 ASU) and are applicable as of 15 April 2012.

The Margin benchmark applicable as of 15 April 2012 has been published. It shall be applied to all official financing support for export credits for civil aircraft pursuant to Article 8 of Appendix III of the 2011 Sector Understanding on Export Credits for Civil Aircraft (the 2011 ASU), annexed to the 2011 Arrangement for Officially Supported Export Credits (the Arrangement).

The following Tables I, II, III, IV and V represent the results for 2010 and previous years, which are expressed in Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).

OECD export credits work is one of the basic building blocks of the ever growing structure of global trade agreements that aim to maintain open and efficient markets. The objective is to eliminate subsidies and unfair practices in the economic competition that forms the foundation of a healthy and dynamic global economy. Since financing is the life blood of trade flows, specialised OECD housed work allows trade to flow efficiently for aircraft and other capital goods while other trade policy work and litigation continue at the World Trade Organization (WTO).
