The Forum for Asian Insolvency Reform (FAIR) was set up by the OECD in co-operation with the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation forum (APEC) the Asian Development Bank, and the World Bank with assistance from the governments of Japan and Australia. FAIR gathers key policy makers, members of the judiciary, academics, insolvency practitioners and other private sector participants. It is a unique platform for policy dialogue, information and networking, enabling to keep the focus on insolvency as a top policy priority and identify important areas for future reforms.

The Sixth meeting of the Forum for Asian Insolvency Reform

The sixth meeting of the Forum for Asian Insolvency Reform will take place in 2008.  It will build on the initial work and input of the Network on Asian Insolvency Reform, which is currently being established and will be held in co-operation with the FAIR partner organisations.  The venue of the FAIR is currently under discussion.

Establishment of a Network of public and private sector experts for on-going dialogue on insolvency

FAIR partner organisations and participants are in favour of intensifying information sharing and co-operation on capacity building through the establishment of a FAIR Network of public and private sector experts for on-going dialogue on insolvency. 
The proposed regional Network is a key for ensuring sustainability of the outcomes of the FAIR meetings and the relevance of its future work.
