The OECD Test Guidelines and related documents are used by government, industry and laboratories to test and assess chemicals.
Molecular Screening and Toxicogenomics are expected to contribute to integrated approaches to chemical testing.
By using Harmonised Templates governments and industry will easily be able to electronically exchange test study summary information.

Argentina has joined the OECD system for the Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) in the Assessment of Chemicals. Through MAD, Argentina’s non-clinical safety data related to the protection of human health and the environment must be accepted by OECD and other adhering countries.

Brazil has become the fourth key emerging economy to join the OECD system for the Mutual Acceptance of Data (MAD) in the Assessment of Chemicals, ensuring that the results of non-clinical chemical safety testing done there will be accepted in all other participating countries.
