Huey Min Chia-Tern is the Deputy Commissioner (International, Investigation & Indirect Taxes Group) at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
She oversees International Tax Affairs and Relations, Investigation and Forensics, as well as the divisions responsible for the administration of indirect taxes i.e. GST, Property Tax & Stamp Duties. Her past work experience includes a two-year secondment to the Ministry of Finance as the Chief Tax Policy Officer.
Huey Min is Singapore’s representative to OECD’s Committee of Fiscal Affairs. In 2016, she assumed the role of Chair of the Peer Review Group of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes. Prior to that, she held the role of the Vice-Chair from 2010 to 2015.
She is also a Representative Council Member of the CPA Australia, as well as a Council Member of its Singapore office. She had also previously served on the Board of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals and the Advisory Board of the Singapore Management University.
