New Medium and Long-Term Export Credits in Excess of One Year for the years 1999 and 2000 totalled 35 729 and 44 634 million Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) respectively; the top 6 buyers' markets were Turkey, United States, Mexico, South Africa, Iran and Brazil .
New Long-Term Export Credits (Over Five Years) for 1999 and 2000 accounted for 14 953 and 15 799 million SDRs respectively; the top 6 buyers' markets were Turkey, Mexico, Iran, China, Russian Federation and Malaysia.
The related Exposure in respect of Medium and Long-Term Export Credits at the end of 1999 and 2000 amounted to 244 995 and 252 953 million SDRs respectively; the top 6 buyers' markets were China, Indonesia, Turkey, Russian Federation, Mexico and Brazil.
