This webpage contains the 2014 edition of the Rules and Regulations of the OECD Seed Schemes. Changes approved at the 2013 Annual Meeting of the OECD Seed Schemes have been included in this edition.
The 2014 edition reflects the following amendments to the Rules:
- Addition of certification requirements for hybrid varieties of triticale
- Extension of the United Kingdom’s participation to the Maize and Sorghum Scheme
- Substitution of the words “Advisory Group” by the word “Bureau”
- Modification of the terms of the technical protocol of the OECD experiment to derogate from the maximum lot size of Poaceae seed.
In July 2008, the OECD Council decided to delegate to the Committee for Agriculture the Authority to approve the technical amendments in annexes to the OECD Codes and Schemes [C(2008)120]. Following this decision, the Committee for Agriculture has approved in 2013 the following amendments to the Seed Schemes: Draft Council Decision Amending the OECD Seed Schemes Amendments to the Rules and Regulations as recommended by the 2013 Annual Meeting [TAD/CA(2013)11].
