Climate change and its impact have dominated international policy agendas and public attention in recent times. These issues are gradually being seen as posing new threats to security and development. The "Security implications of climate change in the Sahel" project combined climate, historical, geographical and socio-economic research to analyse the relationship between climate change and security in the Sahel.
