Co-organised by the International Association for Research on Income and Wealth (IARIW) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The meeting gathered some of the most prominent researchers working on “economic security”. It was organised jointly with the Internal Association for Research in Income and Wealth (IARIW), the most important international network of official statisticians and academic researchers on economic and social accounting.  IARIW has played an important role in promoting the recommendations of the Stiglitz-Sen-Fitoussi Commission and some of its members have been closely associated to OECD work on measuring progress. The Conference also included presentations by senior policy makers and policy analysts.
