Consumer Prices in OECD area rise by 1.3% in year to November 2009

07/01/10 - Consumer prices in the OECD area rose by 1.3% in the year to November 2009, compared with a rise of 0.2% in October 2009. Month-on-month, prices increased by 0.1% in November, unchanged from October 2009.
Consumer prices for energy went up by 2.4% in the year to November 2009, following a fall of 9.2% in October. Consumer prices for food fell by 1.1% in the year to November 2009, compared with a fall of 1.0% in October. Excluding food and energy, consumer prices rose by 1.5% in the year to November 2009, compared to a rise of 1.6% in October 2009. etc.
