The OECD Cyclical Analysis and Composite Indicators System (CACIS) is a program for both cyclical analysis and compilation and study of composites indicators. In the OECD system of Composite Leading Indicators (CLIs), a composite indicator is designed to provide early signals of turning points (peaks and troughs) between expansions and slowdowns of economic activity.
