Standardisation of long-term interest rates series |
The coding system for long-term interest rates has been rationalised. This follows the rationalisation of the coding system for the immediate (overnight) interest rates which took place in the August 2004 edition of MEI. Codes starting xxx.IRLT now contain yields of long-term public sector bonds, categorised by years to maturity. All other long-term rates now have codes which start xxx.IRLO. The target indicator, "yields on 10-year government bonds", is coded xxx.IRLTLT01.ST. The series description used by the national agency is given in "short title" field. Please see the country sections below for details of individual series changes.

SEASONAL ADJUSTMENTS |
New seasonal adjustments by OECD are generally carried out once a year, when the December figure is available. Revisions to individual series due to new seasonal adjustments by national source or by OECD are not signalled in this note. |
