Meltem Kurtsan,

Meltem Kurtsan is graduated from the Pharmacy Faculty of Istanbul University in 1982 and worked in different management levels of the family owned ‘KURTSAN Group of Companies’ which is well known in the fields of herbal pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health- diet foods, and medical products in Turkey. She is the president of the group since 2004.

Throughout her business career she attended several business development activities including Owner President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School. She is elected as ‘Global Leader for Tomorrow’ by World Economic Forum in 1999.

She has started to focus on intellectual property rights and became Trademark and European Patent Attorney by passing the examination of Turkish Patent Institute in 2001 and established  ‘MK Consultancy Training Ltd.’ in the same year. (www.mkistanbul.com).

She is the founder and Honorary President of Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER, www.kagider.org). She is the active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO www.ypo.org ) and Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD, www.tusiad.org.tr).
