Professional career
A. Lawyer
Since 1 October 1990: Lawyer at the Bar in Bruges.

Since 1 September 1993: Associated with LLM Patrick Arnou in Zedelgem, under the name 'ARNOU & CREVITS'.

B. Scholarly career
From September 1990 until May 1996: Part-time assistant with the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law of Ghent University under the direction of Prof. Dr. Hubert BOCKEN. The main task was the creation of a database on environmental case law.

From May 1996 to November 1996: Part-time (50%) collaborator of the Minister’s Office for traffic safety with Mayor Moenaert in Bruges.

C. Political career
25 October 1999 to 7 July 2004: Provincial council member for West Flanders
From 1 January 2000 through 31 December 2006: Alderwoman of the City of Torhout with the following competences:
- public works
- area and urban renewal
- city heritage
- energy and utilities
- environment (forest management, green policy, parks and public gardens, sewerage, waste processing and removal, water purification, road verge management, environmental licences)
- legal disputes.

From 2 January 2007 onwards: Senior alderwoman of the City of Torhout with the following competences:
- public works and housing policy
- environment, nature protection and environmental licences
- neighbourhood liveability and urban regeneration
- city heritage
- information and participation policy
- energy and utilities
- legal disputes.

Since 7 July 2004: Flemish Member of Parliament for the Province of West Flanders constituency
o Secretary of the Commission for Environment and Nature, Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Policy and Town and Country Planning and Immovable Heritage
o Secretary of the Commission for Housing, Urban Policy, Civic Integration and Equal Opportunities
