Mr Patrick J. Ellingsworth

Patrick J. Ellingsworth is Chair of the Taxation and Fiscal Policy Committee of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC) in Paris and a trustee of the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam. He is an active member of Tax Executives Institute and past Chair of Scholarship America Inc.  He has been a regular speaker and writer on tax and management subjects.

He was Executive Vice President – Tax and Corporate Structure for Royal Dutch Shell plc, with its headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands until 30 June 2008.  He joined Shell in April 2000 as the head of taxation.

He holds a J. D. degree from The University of Chicago Law School, and an M.A. from the University of Minnesota.
