Mr Andrea Parolini

Andrea Parolini is lecturer of tax law (professore a contratto) at the Catholic University of Piacenza.

He is also one of the members of the Research Program on the History of Tax Treaties jointly set up by the Catholic University of Piacenza, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, the Canadian Branch of the International Fiscal Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation. The Research Project is aimed at developing a digitalized database of documentation related to the history of tax treaties.

He is also partner of the Italian tax law firm Maisto e Associati where he developed considerable expertise in VAT, EC Law and taxation of entertainers.

In 1999, he obtained an LL.M. Degree in International Tax Law at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands.
