- September 2004-September 2005 - Expert of the Parliamentary Committee investigating irregularities at Poland's PKN Orlen (Polish Petrol Company)
- 2004-2005 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ence.Eko Limited, and responsible for consulting in the field of investment projects in the power industry
- 2002-2005 - Ran his own business as economic adviser in the fields of trade in fuel gas, and implementation of projects in the power industry and environment protection technologies
- July 2000-March 2002 - Member of the Board of Directors of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. (Polish Oil and Gas Mining Industry PGNiG) as deputy chairman for Trade and Restructuring
