  • 1988-1989 – Assistant lecturer at the Chair of Hungarian Studies, Warsaw University
  • 1990-1991 – Chief expert for central European affairs in the Chancellery of Senate
    (upper chamber of the Parliament)
  • 1991-1992 – Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Budapest
  • 1992-1997 – Director of Central European Division in the Department of Europe, MFA
  • 1998-2001 – Director of the Cultural Diplomacy Department, MFA
  • 2001-2006 – Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Budapest
  • from November 2006 -  Under-secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
