Born in Naples, Novembre 30th 1953, Mrs Donatella Linguiti graduated in sociology in June 1976 at Urbino University, discussing her own thesis on Political Economy, the ‘economical system in Marche region’.

In the month of October, same year, she began her own career as a teacher of Corporate branches of learning, together with an activity as trade unionist. During these years, in addition to activities closely connected to her own role of person in charge of being active in elective bodies of school and in activities of planning and experimentation of educational and disciplinary innovations. At the same time, she cooperated with  IRSAE-MARCHE with the aim of updating and training teachers and, in particular, didactics of methodologies and techniques.

Among other charges additional to the professional one, she collaborated with TAMAT, Centre for studies and researches in favour of international cooperation. From her youth she has always been politically active in the new Left and in the feminist movement; in 1991 she is part of the Party: Communist Refounding, in charge of managing responsibilities at provincial, regional and national level.

In 1999, she was appointed councillor responsible for the Province of Ancona and she acted as proxy for Social Politics, State Education, decentralized Cooperation and Peace. Among several activities as councillor, by the authorization of the decentralized Cooperation, she organized two national conferences about Kurdish matter, inside United Nations  Assembly of Peoples.

Starting with these experiences she created the Italian Coordination for Development and Cooperation in the east of Anatolia (CISCASE), at national level, that will lead to the realization of the first project of decentralized international cooperation in Kurdistan Turkish area : a shelter for widows and orphan women, victims of war. After having been appointed for a second time as councillor for Province, at the administrative elections in 2002, she is delegated to represent Public Transports, School Housebuilding, and Equal Opportunities. During the last years she has been promoting direct participation forms to realize planning instruments concerning public works. About Equal Opportunities, the building up of a net of associations and Local Authorities in favour of protection and prevention of violence crimes against women and the way to the formulation of a provincial Gender budget, were considered very important.
