Paolo Giordano is an Economist of the Integration and Regional Programs Department of the Inter‑American Development Bank. He has expertise in integration and trade policy issues in Latin America and the Caribbean, the EU and WTO. He has been an Appointed Professor at Sciences Po, where he lectured on International Economics and Trade Policy and served as the Coordinator of the Working Group on EU‑Mercosur Negotiations.

Having published in books and international journals on topics related to trade in Latin America, his latest edited book is: Asymmetries in Regional integration and Local development (2005).

He holds a PhD in Economics from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris - Sciences Po and a MA from the Bocconi University
