Mr. Hsin Huang is currently working in the Policies, Trade and Structural Analysis Division. Mr. Huang has conducted policy analysis using various types of large scale quantitative models, both national and international in scope.  He has several years experience heading up research teams working on forecasting in econometrics models in Canada, and recently at the OECD in France.  Mr. Huang´s current interests are in the area of trade liberalization.  He was recently awarded a research fellowship with the GTAP Consortium, which is the university based organization spearheading the latest analysis of trade liberalisation using General Equilibrium models.

Before joining OECD, Mr. Huang held various positions in the Canadian government. Mr. Huang is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Canada, where he has obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry, and a Master of Sciences Degree in Agricultural Economics.
