Junichi Goto, Ph.D.
Director, Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan
Junichi Goto is the director and professor of the Research Institute for Economics and Business Administration of Kobe University in Japan. He was awarded Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University in the United States (in 1986). In addition to Kobe University, he has a wide experience at various institutions, including the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, and the Japanese Ministry of Labor. He publishes widely, in both English and Japanese, on various fields of Economics, e.g., labor policy, international trade, development, regional economic integration, migration, the Japanese Economy etc., as books and articles on academic journals.
