Anna KALATA
Minister of Labour and Social Policy

Graduated from the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. A graduate of doctoral studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.

An advisor to deputy speaker of the Sejm Andrzej Lepper. Since 2004, president of the Management Board of the Mazowiecki Regional Loan Fund. Between 2003-2005, a member of the Management Board of the Mazowiecki Loan Guarantee Fund. From 2003 to 2005, she was the director of a wholesale warehouse in the Warsaw division of "RUCH" S.A., while from 2002 to 2003, the director of the Department of Development at the Post Leasing Fund.


She holds a licence issued by the Polish Insurance Supervision Authority, she also passed the state examination for candidates for members of supervisory boards in State Treasury companies. A graduate of the Political Academy for Women, established by the Women Promotion Centre Foundation and completed a course in practical rhetoric and criticisms at the Institute of Literary Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.


Married, has two children.
