Sveinbjörn Blöndal

After a first degree from the University of Iceland and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, Dr. Blöndal joined the OECD in 1986. He has held a number of different positions in the Economics Department, and is currently Head of Structural Policy Analysis Division II in its Policy Analysis Branch. Mr Blöndal was a member of the OECD Jobs Study Task Force in 1993/1994.  During his career at the OECD, Mr Blöndal has been author and co-author of articles and publications in the areas of labour markets, regulatory reform, ageing and asset markets.
