Tom O’Mahony is an Assistant Secretary in the Department of the Environment & Local Government in Ireland. He is responsible for the Environment Division, which deals with policy on issues such as climate change, waste management, nuclear safety and sustainable development. He has previously worked in the Departments of Health, Finance and Agriculture and holds Masters Degrees in Economics and Public Sector Analysis.
