Roger De Boeck

Born in Brussels, 25 March 1954.

Degree in financial economy.

Joined the National Bank of Belgium in 1979.
Till 1983, worked in the field of exchange control at the Directorate "Foreign relations".

In 1983, affected to the External payments division of this Directorate.

In 1993, affected to the new Balance of payments unit of the Bank that he is leading since December 2002.

Belgian representative to different committees at European level (Committee for Monetary, Financial and Balance of Payments Statistics, Statistic Committee of the ECB).

Chaired different working groups at both Eurostat and ECB level in the field of balance of payments statistics, foreign affiliates trade statistics and foreign direct investment statistics.

Is presently the chairman of the WIIS of the OECD, in charge of the methodological, analytical and operational aspects of foreign direct investment statistics.
