Born in Naples 14/3/1958. Ph.d. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Naples. Visiting Research Associate at the University of Arizona in 1986 and 1993. Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Agricultural Economics 1987-1998. From April 1998 to March 2004 General Director of The National Institute of Agricultural Economics (INEA). Regional Editor of the European Review of Agricultural Economics 1994-1998. Member of the editorial Board of the Italian review of Agricultural Economics 1998-2004. Italian Delegate at OECD at the Joint Working Party for Agriculture and Environment. Actually working as consultant for ISMEA (Institute of Services fro the Agrifood Market). Main field of work: agricultural policy; agrienvironment.
