Manfred Huber has been with the OECD in Paris since October 1995, where he is currently leading a team in charge of health indicators, and research in health and ageing policies. Among the regular outcomes from this work are two of OECD’s flagship publications: OECD Health Data, and Health at a Glance. Work is also being finalized on a three-year project on the comparison of long-term care policies in OECD countries. This study is the latest in a series of earlier OECD projects and publications on this major health policy issue.

Before joining the OECD, he worked with a private consulting firm in Germany on health and social policies for clients in social health insurance, and the Federal Government. Manfred Huber graduated from the University of Munich with a Master of Science in Mathematics. He was a Lecturer and Research Assistant in economic statistics at the University of Munich, were he received a PhD in Economics.
