Ayse Bertrand

Ayse Bertrand, Manager of International Investment Statistics, is a member of the Investment Division of the OECD Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs.  The Investment Division services the OECD Investment Committee. Ayse Bertrand is responsible for all statistical work relating to international investment including the OECD Benchmark Definition of Foreign Direct Investment which provides operational guidance to national compilers.  She also participates in the regular trends analysis of international investment conducted by the Investment Division.  Ms Bertrand contributed a chapter on foreign direct investment to the forthcoming OECD Handbook on Economic Globalisation Indicators.   She also assumes the role of the Secretariat to the Workshop on International Investment Statistics of the OECD Investment Committee, a forum bringing together regularly experts from member and observer countries and international agencies, and to the joint IMF/OECD Direct Investment Technical Expert Group setup for the revision of the Benchmark Definition and the IMF Balance of Payments Manual.
