Professional Career:

  • 1980 – 2003:  Various positions in the Planning Departments of Campania and Veneto Region
    2003- actual: General Director of Health Planning Directorate at the Department of Quality at the Ministry of Health

 

Dr. Palumbo has participated in several national committees devoted to health planning strategies, such as the definition of the main essential levels for health assistance in the framework of the National Health Service and the financing policies for the Italian regions with regard to health and social issues.
