Guy de Jonquières is World Trade Editor of The Financial Times. As well as heading coverage of international trade policy developments, he is a principal leader writer on a range of issues, including the EU internal market, US-EU relations and cross-border competition and regulation policies. He has served as an FT staff correspondent in Paris, Brussels, Washington and New York. Previous assignments also include covering the IT industries, the emergence of the European single market and the consumer industries. He was educated at Lancing College and Oxford University, lives in London and is married with two sons.
