Louis Dugas, 58, graduated with Masters degrees in Labour Laws and Business Administration from Lyon University.

Between 1975 and 1988 he hold HR plant manager positions in various industrial environments, ending with the set-up of a new plant close to Nancy for ST Microelectronics. In 1988 he took over international responsibilities in Management Development for DMC and LVMH, Wines and spirits.

In 1994 he joined the Lafarge group where he was HR VP for Lafarge Aluminates and then Group VP, Social Policies, and took in charge HR integration after acquisition of the Redland group.

In 1999 he joined as senior VP, HR, the team in charge of the creation of the new Antalis group, regrouping the 40 distribution subsidiaries of Argo Wiggins group in 14 countries.

In October 2002, he set-up his consulting firm specialised in executive development, change management, intercultural integration, mergers and acquisitions, team building, strategic HR alignment. He has been supporting large clients in services, distribution as well as industry. He took part as an investor and actor in several start-up’s.

Louis Dugas has been the deputy vice-president of the French HR Association and gave lectures at several Congresses of European Personal Association, APG (Portugal), AGEF (Marocco) and Euro Mediterranean HR Association.

He was an associated researcher for the Chair of the ESCP-EAP Business School addressing Executive Committees and Governance and gave lectures in several programmes of HEC, ESSEC, École centrale of Paris. He was also lecturing in seminars relating to Ethics (Centre d’éthique des affaires, Aix en Provence University…).

He is married, with 5 children and two grand daughters.
