Inge Kaul

Inge Kaul is Special Policy Advisor at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York since August 2005. Before that she was Director of UNDP's Office of Development Studies, and from 1989 to 1994, Director of UNDP’s Human Development Report Office.  Her areas of specialization are public finance/economics, with a special focus on risk management, the financing of international cooperation and related issues of public-private partnering and global governance. She has written extensively on these topics and is the lead editor of "Global Public Goods, International Cooperation in the 21st Century" (New York: Oxford University Press 1999), “Providing Global Public Goods; Managing Globalization” (New York: Oxford University Press 2003;  www.globalpublicgoods.org) and “The New Public Finance; Responding to Global Challenges” (New York: Oxford University Press 2006); www.thenewpublicfinance.org.
