The purpose of this consultation is to develop a shared understanding of a set of data that countries should monitor in order to inform policies for children’s well-being.

Ministers will discuss the following issues: Social policies for the recovery, Doing Better for Families and Future of intergenerational solidarity. Prior to the social ministerial meeting, a Policy Forum on Tackling Inequality will be held on the morning of 2 May 2011.
This workshop on Immigrant Integration in West Africa, with a specific focus on Ghana, brings together researchers and policy makers to share experiences and perspectives, in order to develop effective policies aimed at a better integration of immigrants.
The OECD Employment, Labour and Social Affairs Directorate has launched in September 2008 a series of seminars open to both external and internal speakers. It is intended to be an informal forum for discussion of policy-oriented empirical research work among policy-makers, academics and OECD staff.
The conference aims to address the links between labour market outcomes and inequality in emerging economies and to consider which labour market and social policies can help governments in alleviating poverty and in promoting more inclusive societies.
