Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, in Mexico, from 6 to 10 January 2020

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Mexico, from 6 to 10 January 2020 on an official visit. He held bilateral meetings with Mexican high-level officials.


While in Mexico, the Secretary-General presented the OECD reports on The Future of Mexican Higher Education: Promoting Quality and Equity and Higher Education in Mexico: Labour Market Relevance and Outcomes  the OECD report The Heavy Burden of Obesity: The Economics of Prevention and the Review on Reforming ISSSTESON’s Public Procurement for Sustainability for the Mexican State of Sonora.


He also participated in three seminars on the Global and Mexican Economic Outlook (before the Mexican business associations), Gender Equality and its Impact on Inclusive Growth for Mexico (in collaboration with Inmujeres), and Mexican Economic Perspectives (at the Mexican University ITAM).
