Accession Agreement Slovenia - Accord d'adhésion Slovénie
In his speech Angel Gurría emphasised the OECD’s perspective on the challenges ahead for the global economy and the crucial role of multilateral cooperation to build a stronger, fairer, cleaner economy.
"Slovenia’s accession is an important step in our quest to become a hub of dialogue on global issues. Its role as a bridge between East and West will be a great contribution to multilateral dialogue and mutual understanding" said the OECD Secretary-General during the signing ceremony of Slovenia's accession agreement.
OECD countries welcomed four new members – Chile, Estonia, Israel and Slovenia – at their annual Council meeting at ministerial level.

DECISION OF THE COUNCIL TO INVITE THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA TO ACCEDE TO THE CONVENTION ON THE OECD
