Call for project proposals: innovative projects on social safety nets in West Africa
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), with financial support from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), hs aunched through the ECOWAS Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (ARAA) based in Lomé, a second call for project proposals for innovative projects on social safety nets in West Africa. Th project has a total budget of USD 2.2 million. Projects can vary USD 100-2000 000 per project by country, and from USD 100-300 000 forr regional projects (covering two or more countries).
The deadline for submission of proposals is 27 March 2017 (12 am, GMT, London time).

Prepared on the basis of contributions from Network Members, this newsletter presents a consensual analysis of the food and nutrition situation in West Africa and the Sahel. Formerly known under the name "NISA" (Information Note on Food Security), the paper now includes a section on Network activities, which aims to promote activities of our Members and provide information on the Network's main areas of work.
RPCA Policy Notes
Conclusions of the RPCA annual and restrictive meetings are synthesised in a policy note. Targeting policy makers (West African states, regional organisations and technical/financial partners) and civil socity organisations, this policy note highlights recommendations with a view to facilitating decision-making to prevent and better manage possible food crises.

PREGEC Communiqués on the food and nutrition situation
Terms of Reference
This mapping study aims to increase the capacity of the Food Crisis Prevention Network (RPCA) with respect to its original mission to provide a platform for convergence, co-ordination and synergies. It will identify and geo-localise ongoing food security, nutrition and resilience interventions in the Sahel and West Africa region. Information will be made available via an online database and mapping tool.
