Elisabeth Hovdhaugen holds a masters degree in sociology from the University of Oslo (2001), and is enrolled in the PhD-program in sociology at the University of Oslo. She is currently researcher at NIFU STEP. Her professional interests include recruitment and non-completion in higher education, study progress and policies aiming at (likestilling) in higher education.
