Mutual Legal Assistance database: access full texts of legal instruments, treaties and legislation

Mutual legal assistance (MLA), extradition and recovery of proceeds of corruption are essential mechanisms in the prosecution and sanctioning of corruption and in maintaining a deterrent effect of criminal legislation against bribery and corruption.

As part of the outcome of the thematic review on mutual legal assistance, extradition, and recovery of proceeds of corruption a database of the legal instruments available for granting and requesting MLA and extradition between the member jurisdictions of the Initiative and the relations with Parties of the OECD anti-bribery Convention has been established. It features the full texts of legal instruments, treaties and legislation that govern the granting and requesting of extradition and MLA in the fight against corruption in Asia-Pacific.

To access the full texts,
1. download the matrix below that describes the kind of relations you seek information on;
2. in the matrix, choose the field that describes the relevant relation between the requesting and the requested jurisdiction;
3. then choose the instrument(s) you wish to download.
