ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative › 7th Steering Group meeting
The 7th Steering Group Meeting of the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific was held on 26-27 September 2005 in Beijing, China, and hosted by the Government of the People's Republic of China. The meeting had three main objectives:
to report on and discuss implementation of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for Asia-Pacific, including recent anti-corruption reform projects that have taken place since the last meeting of the Steering Group in April 2005;
to complete the Steering Group’s self-evaluation and mutual review process on implementing the Action Plan’s standards for legal and institutional frameworks for curbing corruption in public procurement; and
to discuss and adopt the 2nd edition of the overview report on Anti-Corruption Policies in Asia-Pacific - the legal and institutional frameworks.
