ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative › 4th Steering Group meeting
The 4th Steering Group Meeting was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 1-2 December 2003. It was hosted by the Anti-Corruption-Agency of Malaysia.
The fourth meeting of the Steering Group
discussed activities undertaken by the Secretariat over the past 9 months, including the training seminar on prosecution of corruption (India, February 2003), preparation of the Initiative's fourth regional anti-corruption conference (Kuala Lumpur, December 2003), and the drafting of the Initiative's stocktaking report on anti-corruption policies in Asia-Pacific;
held a final discussion on implementation of the reform priorities in endorsing countries under the Initiative's first implementation cycle;
finalized the first draft stocktaking report on anti-corruption policies in Asia-Pacific; and
defined key objectives of the Initiative's work program for 2004 and beyond.
Australia and Hong Kong, China were formally welcomed as full members to the Steering Group during this meeting.
