ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative › 17th Steering Group Meeting
The 17th Steering Group meeting of the ADB/OECD Anti-Corruption Initiative for Asia-Pacific was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 22 October 2012. Hosted by the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam, the meeting had the following main objectives:
Follow up the Initiative’s previous activities, including the implementation of (a) the Recommendations of the 2010 Thematic Review on the Criminalisation of Bribery in Asia and the Pacific; and (b) conclusions of the 2011 Regional Anti-corruption Conference in New Delhi, India;
Hear reports on recent developments in the anti-corruption field by Steering and Advisory Group members, observers, and the Secretariat;
Discuss progress on the Thematic Review on Corporate Compliance, Internal Controls, Ethics Measures;
Discuss and adopt the revised Country Reporting Template;
Consult the private sector, civil society, media in Vietnam and Asia-Pacific; and
Discuss and agree on the Initiative’s specific activities for 2013.
