Russia has yet to address key provisions of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, which entered into force in Russia in April 2012. It has not yet fully implemented recommendations for strengthening its framework for combating foreign bribery and should be more proactive in detecting, investigating and prosecuting foreign bribery cases.

The Secretary-General of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurría, will be in Moscow, from 17th to 20th July 2013, to attend the G20 Labour Ministers Meeting & the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting.
The OECD, in collaboration with the ILO, has prepared a series of reports to support the Ministers’ discussions at the G20 Labour and Employment Ministerial meeting in Russia
This initiative supports the advancement of financial literacy and capability programmes in low and middle‑income countries. With funding provided by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the World Bank and the OECD have conducted methodological, analytical and policy work on financial literacy, capability and education.
Russia is a key player in the world economy and therefore already integrated in the complex architecture of Global Economic Governance. Russia’s G20 Presidency and its leadership have underpinned this role further, said Angel Gurría.
