OECD Publishing is pleased to consider permissions, licensing, and translation requests related to OECD publications. Please see information on the various types of requests below.
Reproducing OECD Material
The OECD is pleased to allow reproducing and copying of OECD material in journals, documents, books or electronic media, for personal, non-commercial, commercial, or for classroom use, under the conditions listed below:
Reproduction of OECD materials is granted free of charge and without written permission up to the following limits:

a. for any extract which does not exceed 400 words or for a maximum of 2 tables or graphs;

b. for a series of extracts totalling less than 800 words, of which any one extract is at the most 300 words.
On all such reproductions, the source must be duly mentioned as follows: 'Title of the publication, Copyright OECD, Publication year'
Any other reproduction of OECD material in another work is subject to written permission from the OECD. To obtain such permission, please fill send us a permission request with the following information:

Incomplete requests will not be processed and will be returned to the requester for more information.
Any use of OECD material must be accompanied by an acknowledgement of the source and must be cited as follows: Author (if any), Title of the material, © OECD, date. Some of the materials in the OECD Web site may contain references to materials from third parties for which copyright must be honored.

Co-publishing with OECD
Co-publishing agreements are negotiated to improve the market potential, to increase sales, distribution, and publicity with private publishers, universities, other international organisations, government agencies. The OECD seeks publishers that can offer access to specialised readerships.

Translating OECD Publications
Hundreds of OECD publications are translated every year by various partners around the world. The OECD welcomes this possibility to increase its dissemination and outreach.
OECD publications are protected by the International Copyright Laws. If you are interested in translating an OECD publication, send us a request with the information listed below at rights@oecd.org :

Title and ISBN of the OECD publication you wish to translate.

Your full co-ordinates (company name, contact name and title, e-mail, phone, fax, address).

The full co-ordinates for the agreement (company name and full address, signatory's name and title).

Language for which you are requesting rights.

Will you be printing a book, publishing an electronic version, producing a CD? List all the formats in which you have interest.

If you request a license for not-for-profit purposes, please state it and give us your print run and expected publication date.

If you request a license for commercial purposes, please give us your print run, likely selling price, distribution and marketing plans and expected publication date. We will calculate the royalties rate and get back to you with a draft agreement

Multilingual Summaries of OECD Publications
Multilingual summaries are summaries of OECD publications translated into a language other than English or French. These summaries provide a quick possibility to access OECD material around the world. Multilingual summaries are available for free on the Internet at www.oecd.org/publishing/summaries.
We are looking for partners (private publishers or institutions) to co-publish theme books including a choice of summaries translated into a specific language. If you are interested in a partnership with the OECD, please contact us at rights@oecd.org.

Multilingual Translations Database
OECD publications are available in English and French, the two official languages of the Organisation. Hundreds of summaries and a selection of full publications are translated into other languages.
