OECD country reviews assess how countries manage the design, adoption and implementation of regulations. They have been carried out since 1999 and examine the regulatory management structures according to a unique OECD conceptual framework and provide recommendations for improving the regulatory governance and enhancing the regulatory quality specific to each country. The reviews assist governments in improving regulatory quality – that is, to reform regulations to foster competition, innovation, economic growth and meet important social objectives. Country reviews can be accessed below by clicking on the country name.
Current country activities and latest developments have also been included for countries that have provided updates. The aim is to provide current information on regulatory policy and governance activities in each country. To update country information please contact Jennifer.stein@oecd.org or Faisal.naru@oecd.org.
