In light of its imminent membership to the European Union, Hungary has been faced with the need to respond to persistent and growing disparities. What territorial policy responses are needed to facilitate EU accession and bridge the gap with more advanced OECD countries? How can Hungary ensure the continuation of its current favourable macroeconomic performance? How will it link the domestic and foreign sectors, the latter of which benefits from a steady flow of FDI?
