The Secretary-General delivered remarks to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Poland's OECD membership and presented the main findings of an OECD report on priorities for making Poland a more inclusive and knowledge-based economy.
Mr. Gurría held bilateral meetings with Mr. Janusz Piechociński, Deputy Prime Minister, and Mr. Grzegorz Schetyna, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Warsaw on 10 March 2014 to present the 2014 OECD Economic Survey of Poland and to meet with Mr. Bronisław Komorowski, President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Janusz Piechociński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and several Ministers of the Polish government.
During his official visit, Angel Gurría will attend a press conference to present the latest OECD economic survey of Poland and will meet with government representatives including the President of the Republic.
This seminar looked at the experience of former communist countries and their achievements 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
This seminar is organised in cooperation with INAS CISL and Fondazione Giulio Pastore.
