Competition Forums

The OECD Global Forum on Competition (GFC) is intended to deepen policy dialogue with non-Members by debating issues which are truly global. The Forum was launched in 2001. It brings together high-level competition officials from around the world on an annual basis. Some eighty authorities from Asia, Africa, Europe, Australasia and the Americas currently participate in the Forum.

The Latin American Competition Forum (LACF) promotes dialogue, consensus building and networking in the region. The LACF was launched in 2003 and meets on an annual basis. Participants are senior officials of Latin American competition institutions. Competition experts from some OECD countries and international organisations also attend to provide additional perspectives and experience.
