Regional Information

The regional integration process in West Africa is comparatively advanced and could be seen as a model case for other regions in Africa. Regional institutions in West Africa have contributed much to foster this regional integration process by promoting regional approaches to achieve common development goals.

The SWAC supports capacity-building within West Africa's regional institutions by providing regional analysis and facilitating access to regional information. For example, the Atlas on Regional Integration in West Africa enables the SWAC and ECOWAS together to establish a global understanding of regional West African issues.

The SWAC will soon present you more information on regional key features and regional institutions.
