The Good Governance for Development (GfD) in Arab Countries Initiative aims at modernising public governance in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through dialogue among policy practitioners from MENA and OECD countries. By improving the environment for entrepreneurs, investors and job creation, it works towards sustainable development of the region.[more]

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the 2009 Ministerial Conference of the MENA Initiative on Governance and Investment for Development is scheduled to take place on 23 November 2009, in Marrakech, Morocco. The conference will be preceded by a Business and Governance Day on 22 November 2009.
