Key Publications

• Assessment Reports are produced at the request of the EC as a contribution to its annual Progress Reports on EU candidate and potential candidate countries and to its technical assistance programming.

• SIGMA Profiles provide comprehensive information on horizontal management systems and identify the main issues governing the public sector in a given country. Areas covered include the constitutional framework, legislative authority, central executive, personnel management, administrative oversight and control, and the management of European integration.

• SIGMA Papers are prepared as contributions to SIGMA's work with its partners and focus on specific issues in governance and management, such as financial control, administrative oversights, inter-ministerial co-ordination and public procurement. 

• Update Newsletters were produced between 2003 and 2007. 

• Audit Newsletters were produced by SIGMA and the European Court of Auditors between 2002 and 2006 for the networks of Supreme Audit Institutions of new EU member states, candidate countries and potential candidate countries.

• Meeting Documents are papers and presentations prepared for SIGMA events.
